The 16-ply Gretsch Mahogany/Maple Snare Drum collection gives you the best of both worlds…the sound and feel of Mahogany, and the sound and feel of Maple. The assortment will cover any sound and musical preference you have.

The 6×13” and 5×14” are designed with a sharp 30 degree bearing edge, both sizes have a very cutting attack and powerful back beat with just the right amount dark undertone. The 6.5” and 8×14” carry a bit less attack thanks to the soft 30 degree bearing edge and they release a ton of darker low-end with a fatter back beat.

Each size is finished in a beautiful gloss lacquer and are completed with Tilco Snare Wires, 2.5mm Triple Flange Hoops, and our newly designed Full Range Throw off & Butt Plate.
